Langues - AN111 : Storytelling

Domaine > Langues vivantes.

Descriptif

How is consumer culture shaped and changed though the use of storytelling? You will learn how to put into context a world that is flooded with objects, services, and stories. You will ask yourselves what is vying for your individual and collective attention. You will dive into the deeper implications of how the creative sector drives a societal and an environmental landscape, and come to a clearer understanding of how things are made, distributed and consumed. More importantly you will ask why. Contextualization is a crucial skill, which encompasses the vital analysis of the socio-economic and political nature of products, services, and circumstances. This tool is an all-important prerequisite to success in a knowledge-based economy, which asserts that lifelong education, innovation, information, and accessible communication are the pillars of sustained economic growth. Some things you will also discover are how creative initiatives begin, from innovative techniques to mass access, exploring examples from the birth of the entertainment-industrial complex to the contemporary uses of contemporary media, AI, commercial design, and architecture.
