Langues - AN207 : Critical thinking: Human rights and social justice

Descriptif

This is a fully online course for B2.2 speakers and upwards. During the sessions we look at how to take a critical thinking approach to the world around us,  look at the history of various social justice moments in the West including women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, civil rights, and more. Every other week you will give short presentations on a subject which will then be discussed and debated. 

Objectifs pédagogiques

By the end of the semester, you will have: 

  • Learnt how to incorporate critical thinking into your studies
  • Improved your presentation skills
  • Learnt about the history of a number of social justice movements
